Today, Eleanor celebrated her first birthday. Although we could not spend this day in the company of family or long-time friends, it was celebrated with people who have come to know and love her. We are, and will continue to be, eternally grateful for the warmth and grace they have shown all three of us. Happy 1st Birthday, Eleanor.

Happy Birthday Eleanor!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat great photos! Thanks for posting them. We were with you in spirit today (could you feel it?) as the big day was celebrated. It occurs to me that while Eleanor will not have a conscious memory of the day (because of her age) she will ALWAYS remember and cherish that her first birthday was shared with such warm and caring friends in an amazing place. And what a lovely one year old she is! That's one cute dress, Eleanor! Grandpa D.
